Adulterers shall not enter the Kingdom of God.




Mark 10:11-12″ And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”

I Corinthians 6:9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Scripture is clear, Christ makes it clear–all those unrepentant adulterers in second marriages or who have married someone on their second marriage while their first spouse still lives shall not enter the Kingdom. They must repent by separating from their second marriage partner and live celibate. Marriage is only ended by the death of one spouse. Marriage is meant to picture the unbreakable bond between Christ and his bride, the church.

The Westminster Confession, the creed held by most Presbyterian churches worldwide is wrong on this issue!
